Silver Chalice, Cáliz Limosnero, Spain Circa 1700
Alms chalice ** entirely in formerly gilded silver. Spain around 1700.
The chalice rests on a stepped circular foot, the shaft is tubular with several discs, underlined in the middle by a toric knot. The bell-shaped cup is edged in the middle with a flat ring. No decoration or iconography. Screw assembly. All parts are original Without identification punches, however, an indecipherable mark is present on the disc of the cup.
