Oil on canvas framed by a carved wooden frame called berain (Louis XIV style but without gilding). Signature lower right: E. Corneau.
Painting and frame in perfect condition. Painting dating from the 1930s.
Very beautiful painting with intense colors, of high quality.
Pont de Bercy with its laundry boats. It's a beautiful summer day in Paris and people are basking in the sun.

He came to Paris in 1901 where he exhibited for the first time in 1918.
Member of the Salon d'Automne where he exhibited regularly.
He also exhibited at the Salon des Tuileries from 1923.
