"Bronze Medallion – E. Peynaud Oenologist –"
Important medallion in relief representing the face, in profile, of the renowned oenologist Doctor Emile PEYNAUD (1912-2004), considered the father of modern oenology. Knight of the Legion of Honour, Officer of Academic Palms and Agricultural Merit. A street in his name was inaugurated on May 4, 2012 in the town of BUSSY SAINT GEORGES (Seine et Marne) He was at the origin of several works on his privileged art: "The taste of wine, knowledge and work of wine, discover the taste of wine, wine and days”. Dimensions: diameter: 38 cm, thickness: 8 cm, weight: 5 kg. Marked hollow at the base: PEYNAUD - 1985. 20th century.
