Important painting representing a river in the undergrowth. The onset of fall is beautifully depicted in this shimmering, copper-toned riverside scene. This magnificent painting was made by Jean Dufau (19th-20th century). It is signed lower left by the artist and sold with a remarkable gilded and richly worked wooden frame, thus enhancing this splendid oil on canvas.
