"Eugène Alluaud (1866-1947) View Of The Surroundings Of Rouen Oil Painting Landscape Painting Impressionnist Ecole De Crozant"
With this superb oil on prepared cardboard, this time Eugène Alluaud abandons the Creuse landscapes to offer us the Rouen countryside. From each brushstroke, he brings out color, pure, dazzling ... essential, like his friend and undisputed Master Guillaumin or even a Charreton in some of his works. A thick, dense and generous material that he knew how to tame to perfection. The work is titled at the bottom "Hamlet around Rouen" and signed in the extension. Provenance: Former Albert Fischer collection, Paris. Dimensions: 40 cm x 49.8 cm This remarkable artist is listed in the Bénézit dictionary. It has been the subject of an abundant bibliography that you will easily discover on internet.
This work is in very good original condition. Possibility of frame.
