Astonishing walnut cabinet in Flamboyant Gothic style and workmanship dating from the 19th century.
this cabinet has 14 drawers on the front, all sculpted with beautiful gothic moldings and fitted with dovetails.
they have been revised and slide perfectly.
each of these drawers has a unique carved decoration.
in the center of the front of this cabinet there is a small door with columns opening onto a storage space.
the sides are nicely worked with large, very well executed gothic panels.
the cabinet has a gallery decorated with carved patterns in braces, some of these braces have been redone on 10 cm.
The piece of furniture rests on ball feet.
It has been completely overhauled and the only restoration is on the few centimeters of the gallery.
the walnut patina is superb and highlights the carved patterns.
a surprising and very decorative piece of furniture ideal for storing your collections, your documents etc...
it rests on a large table forming its base like a Louis XIII style console with a beautiful turned and twisted base decorated in its center with wrought iron crosspieces meeting under the top.
a very stable flared lyre base with a beautiful waxed patina.
a piece of furniture typical of the Napoleon III era where the appeal of flamboyant Gothic had been brought up to date thanks to people like Viollet-le-Duc.
