Louis JOURDAN born in 1872 in BOURG EN BRESSE and died in PARIS in 1948. Louis JOURDAN exhibited in LYON since 1891 then in PARIS since 1900, at the salon of French artists in particular. He was a gold medalist, declared "hors concours" and received the Rosa BONHEUR prize in 1914. A museum, opened in 1962, is dedicated to him in SAINT-PAUL-DE-VARAX in AIN.
