"Dewoitine 27 From Marcel Doret Aviation"
Airplane in flight seen from the sky with landscape below, a ground mechanic prepares for landing, with his small ladder. After information from a specialist, the plane represented would be Marcel Doret's Dewoitine 27, recognizable by the red and white chevron stripes on the wings. Marcel Doret (1896-1955) aviator during the two world wars was in the 1920s and 1930s an aerobatic pilot, test pilot for the manufacturer Dewoitine and one of the first airline pilots in the history of aviation. The painting is painted on canvas, laminated on panel and signed and dated 1930 at the bottom right, a signature that I have not been able to decipher. Without its frame, it measures 29.5x23.5 cm.
