An Italian micromosaic and purpurin glass rosary with images of Christ and the Virgin.
The rosary appears to date to the 17th century and the gold mounted micromosaic dates to the early 19th century.
The mosaic pendant measures 3.8 x 2cm (excluding loose bail).
The length of the necklace measures 66cm.
The micromosaic pendant is decorated to one side with a portrait of Christ and to the the other with the Virgin. The purpurin glass beads are spaced with small silver beads and to one end a silver tassel.
