"Antique French Cartel Wall Clock Gilt Bronze Louis XVI Style"
Antique French Louis XVI style cartel clock in gilded bronze, 19th century. This beautiful clock is completely intact and in excellent condition with an original pendulum. The top of the clock is adorned with a large urn, adorned with garlands that fall to meet at the head of a lion. Typical are the goat heads to the right and left of the movement. The clock is decorated at the bottom with a bundle of tassels. The white enamel dial with Roman hours and Arabic minutes. A beautiful original gilt bronze clock is in very good condition. 8-day spring movement with lever escapement and balance, striking every half hour by means of a bell closing disc.
