Pistol with superimposed barrels, 2nd Empire period, 19th century. Chest and percussion pistol, with double superimposed barrels in white polished steel, circa 1840-1850. Barrels with smooth interiors of 13 mm at the muzzle outlet and 13.5 cm long. Barrel carrying sights, "V" rear sight and ball front sight. Crested hammer with thumb grid, double trigger under trigger guard and individual for each barrel. Metal rammer rod with tip in the shape of a brass nail. Fixing of the rod by 2 rings under the barrel. Barrel bearing marking of N) 8 at the height of the thunderbolt and on the frame at the height of the trigger guard.
