Arnauld Eloi Gautier D'Agoty (1744-1783) Two mezzotints in 18th century colors (1773) representing Apollo And Venus, framed and under glass. Second of the five sons of Jacques Gautier d'Agoty, like his father and his brothers, he uses the process of engraving in the mezzotint printed in color on four plates prepared in the cradle: the first in mezzotint, engraved with a chisel and roulette, bring black; the second and third, in a black way, bring blue and yellow respectively; the fourth, in black manner and engraved at the tip, brings red. Provide some restorations on the boards. Dimension of the frames: 71 x 57.5 cm Dimension at sight: 54 x 38.5 cm
