Calligraphy brush whose handle is adorned with a beautiful horn carving. It depicts figures of scholars (Literati) surrounded by buildings and a Chinese garden. China, Qing dynasty, 19th/20th century. It is possible that the sculpture is older than the brush. Length 38.5 cm, horn carving: 6 x 5.2 cm.
