Stunning scene depicting a glimpse of the Yoshiwara and more specifically the luxurious Kinpeiro House. A distinguished gentleman is approaching accompanied by an Oiran and his
"kamuro" (child helper).
The other Oiran are facing the wooden balconies trying to attract his attention, sporting their luxurious kimonos and elaborate hairstyles.
A kamuro is attempting to retrieve a hair clip that has fallen over the balustrade.
Highly sought-after and hard-to-find subject. It is in good condition, some imperfections.
