Small Chiffonniere In Precious Wood, Louis XVI Period - Eighteenth

Beautiful Chiffonnière at support height, in marquetry, composed of five identical drawers. These are provided with a four-leaf amaranth veneer front, surrounded by a lemon net and a rosewood band. On each side, the uprights are canted with an inlay of amaranth arranged horizontally and surrounded by lemon net. The sides have a four-leaf amaranth veneer center surrounded by a lemon fillet and a rosewood band, like the rest of the cabinet. The drawers are adorned with bronze entries, surmounted by a Louis XVI knot. The bronze keys and locks, in working order, are original. The sides and bottoms of the drawers are in oak and the unit is fitted with dust covers. This chest of drawers is topped with an original light beige Nankin de Mancioux (Haute-Garonne) marble, embellished with a harmonious groove.
