Length: 27 cm; barrel length: 14 cm
Caliber: 12mm
Octagonal barrel, engraved of foliage and blued mirror.
Round cylinder, with six chambers, engraved of bundles of weapons and large leaves, blued; carries the number 32.
Open carcass, cased and engraved with foliage, with on the bottom, the marking: "Javelle M. ST Etienne Bte S.G.D.G".
Opening and dismantling by key located under the barrel.
Stick in drowning. Case-hardened steel cap, with ring of bélière on piton.
Very good state of conservation, including the mechanics, the rooms and the tube. Small mark on a side of the barrel.
Michel JAVEL, arms manufacturer in Saint-Etienne from 1860 to 1880. Deposit of the patents for its revolver with tilting barrel in 1859.
