"Large Celadon Earthenware Basin, Napoleon III Period, Universal Exhibition Sarreguemines"
Old & large earthenware shaped piece. Large basin resting on a quadripod base decorated with eagles with outstretched wings. Very beautiful celadon color with cream highlights. Work from the Second Empire, probably produced by the Sarreguemines faience factory for the 1878 Universal Exhibition in Paris. 35cm in height, 35cm in diameter. In very good condition, to report missing beaks of two eagles. Numbered 230
