The mount rests on three quadrangular uprights ending in the upper part with eagles' heads, and in the lower part with lion's paws. They are joined by a crotch. The strapping is decorated with a frieze of palmettes. Anse is geometric in shape. The hummocked lid, hinged and furnished with an acorn-shaped catch. The container is in transparent star-cut crystal, it is original and undamaged. Empire period.
