Very beautiful watercolor by the Rennais painter Joseph Oberthur dated 1896. Representation of a deer listening, contemplating the surrounding nature. Frame dimensions: 50 x 62 cm Joseph Marie Oberthur was born in Rennes in 1872 and died in Cancale in 1956. He was a French painter, animal designer and hunting writer. The work that we are offering you was produced early in his long career.
