Very beautiful and large shawl box from the Charles X period. In rosewood veneer and light wood marquetry, this box develops a delightful decor of flowers, birds and butterflies. In good general condition, it should be noted however, a small lack of veneer on the back, see photos. The lock does not work. The interior lined with fabric, normal wear. Beautiful patina of time.
