"Snake Lamp "hebi", Design 1960/70 By Isao Hosoe."
Iconic "Serpent" lamp, dating from the 1960s/70s; "HEBI" model due to the Japanese designer Isao Hosoe (Hebi = Snake, in Japanese), for the Valenti Luce house, Italy, in cream-white color. Flexible and malleable lamp, it remains an "all-terrain" "star", adapting to all supports, and taking all shapes. Lacquered aluminium, and flexible metal under corrugated plastic; original electrification, with switch and socket OK E14 socket for standard light bulb with small screw base. Round reflector in lacquered aluminum pierced in the upper part for light diffusion = diameter 10 cm. Flexible tube = 105 - 110 cm long. Very good "vintage" condition, normal and moderate traces of use.
