"Bacchus And Ariadne, Eighteenth Century."
This group which represents Bacchus and Ariadne is in fine earthenware, they stand, near a tree, and hold hands, behind them Cupid is seated a dove near him and a quiver placed on the ground. We have tried to find an origin for this charming little group, but we have no certainty and many doubts, it reminds us of certain Neapolitan productions. A few accidents are to be noted, among the most important an arm to love as well as to Bacchus and one or two branches of the tree. Period late 18th century Height 20 cm
