"Charles X Period Worker."

Worker in sycamore maple marquetry on rosewood veneer background having kept even its pleated fabric basket. Its top containing a mirror lifts up and reveals a removable sycamore compartment; it opens with a drawer in front and rests on four arched legs connected by an X-shaped spacer with a small inlaid tray in the middle. Charles X period. Around 1830.
