Circa 1860-1890 England Precious hexagon patchwork made of silk fashioned between 1780 and 1860. Exceptional composition with a zig-zag striped effect around a central target with black velvet hexagons. Great richness of the silks initially intended for the dress. Very strong polychromy of the silks composed of taffeta, satin, pekin, shaped and all shaded, mottled, fluted, moire... Entirely sewn by hand very tightly, there are still some traces of cardboard written in English on the back. From a Parisian collection with description on yellow paper. Remarkable piece. No defects.
