The romantic portrait of a peasant woman was executed by the mid-19th century Austrian portrait painter Johann Nepomuk Gebhard. Gebhard was born in Brno, studied there under Ferdinand Licht and later under Kreutzinger in Vienna.

Condition: in good condition , lined, a small paint (ca.1 cm) on the pink skirt, several light cracks.
