Old Agate Ring With Dentrite And Diamonds

Old rose gold ring with a rectangular frame with cut sides and it is decorated in the center in a closed setting with a dendrite cabochon agate, in an entourage of rose-cut diamonds which follow the curve of the ring. The start of the ring is fleur de lysé on both sides, openwork, and is extended by a profiled ring.

Period: 19th century
Main material: pink gold, 750 thousandths, 18 carats and silver, owl hallmark.
Total weight of the agate: approximately 2.30 carats.
Proportions: Height: approximately 21.7 mm, width: approximately 9.7 mm, thickness: approximately 5 mm, width of the ring at the base: approximately 1.3 mm.
Net weight: about 4.4g.
Antique jewel - Work from the second half of the 19th century.
Our opinion: Extremely rare in this condition, this old ring bears witness to its time. The dendrite agate which is set has a cloudy decoration on the bottom which continues with fine and delicate branches in gray tones. An old collector's item of jewellery.
