It was in 1860 that the goldsmith Georges Boin joined forces with the jeweler Émile Taburet; they won a bronze medal at the Universal Exhibition for a toilet service in the style of Pierre Germain. Here is a perfect example of the productions of the Boin-Taburet house in Paris, strongly influenced by the masterpieces of the 18th century: this centerpiece in gilded bronze with three arms of light, bearing the hallmarks of the master goldsmith " G. Bon”. The Maison Boin-Taburet participates in many fairs and exhibitions, in particular those of 1878, 1889, and 1900.
