In Table Humorous Stamps- Post.

Work of a skilled artist-lover, this table is composed of a "marquetry" 1300 postage stamps of different colors (25x52). The artist was inspired by an advertising poster for Ader cars in Levallois-Perret created in 1903 and due to Georges Meunier (1869-1942) who was a pupil of willian Bouguereau. Treatment of animals also reminds the work of cartoonist Benjamin Rabier. Each module consists of a stamp or the assembly of various different colors of stamps elements to meet the schematic of any dessin.Le is highlighted with a stroke of a pen with black ink. French painted around 1910. Work Framework (few scales) and glass at the time. Setting: 123 cm x 78 cm. Table: 103 cm x 58 cm.
