Art Nouveau Gallé Vase With Seaweed

Several layers of glass animate this small tapered vase of Japanese inspiration. Abundant revolving decoration finely engraved with moving seaweed in oxblood color on an intense yellow/orange background. Beautiful slightly shiny finish. Signed "Gallé" on the belly. Art Nouveau period 1900 / 1910 Superb color contrast. A very beautiful naturalistic decor and intense colors! Note that a vase with the same decoration and the same colors was acquired several years ago by the Community of communes of the Pays de Bitche, Maison du Verre et du Cristal (Meisenthal).
