Beautiful cup on a pedestal in Onyx and Gilt Bronze of Neo-Gathic inspiration from the Compagnie des Onyx-marbre d'Algérie, a famous Parisian luxury house in activity during the second half of the 19th Century. The circular-shaped Onyx top centered with a medallion in the profile of a Bacchic woman. The baluster-shaped pedestal centered in the middle with a double profile of a man and a woman with antique hairstyles. In 1863 the Company opened a luxury store at 24 Boulevard des Italiens, the place quickly became a great success.
