"Lyre Clock With Four Bells"
Exceptional grandfather clock from the very end of the 19th century. The work of a passionate amateur who has completely revisited Comtoise watchmaking by adding decorations of copper, bronze, brass and glass. Very precise, it has a rare anchor mechanism, with 4 bells which strike the quarter (once), the half (twice), the 3/4 (3 times) and the hour (twice). Lyre pendulum with ornate and gilded birds. The lower part is covered with oak panelling. With its baroque air, this unique piece reaches us in good condition.
