Here we have a fine example of a copy from this era by a French painter. This still life, with a rich composition, makes it possible to multiply exercises in style by copying fruits (cherries, lemon, strawberries), different materials such as metal with the compass and the pepper shaker, and fabrics, drapes and ribbons, without forgetting the classic oyster, whose material is particularly difficult to render, a branch, a leaf and a small butterfly!
