"Antique Victorian Vanity Box"
Beautiful Victorian lady's vanity box. 19th century.The exterior of the box is rosewood which has been inlaid with mother of pearl floral style marquetry around the edges of the top and front of the box.
The inside of the box is fully stocked with 11 different original glass bottles and jars, with silver lids and star cut bases.
The main interior of the box lifts up to reveal additional storage space.
The lid of the box houses a mirror and a card holder. It is lined with a beautiful curly red velvet.
On the side of the box is a small button that releases a drawer at the bottom of the box. Lined with red leather, it is used to store jewelry.
The box comes with its original key and working lock.
Very good condition, beautifully crafted object.
