Large mirror in carved and gilded wood, decorated with foliage scrolls, acanthus leaves, fluted columns and two large cross-shaped motifs on each side. All set on claw feet. Glass and pare-closes with mercury. Parquet floor at the back. Wear and addition of wings under the top angel. Some slight gaps, and some restored leaves, but the whole is spectacular in its presence and the charm that emanates from it. Italy, probably Rome, 18th c. 178x120
