JAMMES (Francis) - The Christian Georgics. Paris, Literary Editions of France, 1950; in-4, 173 pp., superb unsigned binding in black morocco with bands, smooth spine mosaicked with the name of the author and the title of the book, the two covers are decorated with a mosaic decoration representing the Blessing Virgin Mary farmers' harvests, double guard, cover and spine preserved, casing. Copy numbered A on vellum paper (total print run 500 copies). Stencil illustrations by Fernand Labat with lined inserts (a suite but only for full-page illustrations). At the beginning of the book an original watercolor signed by Fernand Labat. Very nice copy.
