Charming fan-shaped inkwell formed by a lotus leaf with a bamboo stem, representing a man in Japanese costume holding a fan, the white porcelain inkwell hidden in a small pagoda decorated with a heron, a butterfly, a flowering branch and a Japanese calygraphy symbol, the roof forming the hinged lid
