Rare Boar In Terracotta, Austrian End Of XIX Eme Century flag

Object description :

"Rare Boar In Terracotta, Austrian End Of XIX Eme Century"
For hunters and amateur collectors, a fairly rare polychrome terracotta piece dating from the second half of the 19th century, probably an Austrian work, inspired by the remarkable carved wooden works of the Black Forest.
our boar is very realistic and even in small nature it offers the qualities of the big ones without the noise or the damage they can cause.
it is in excellent condition with an old restoration on one of the legs and on one of the hooves, but not very visible, one of the tusks has also been glued on.
The polychromy is in excellent condition and it has retained its sulphide eyes which give it a lively appearance.
we sometimes meet dogs of course, other animals are already rarer but this is the first time that I have found a boar and especially of this quality.
a nice collector's item, a new pet.
