Ancient and elegant small French writing desk from the 19th century, Napoleon III period, made of precious exotic wood with applications in gilded and finely chiselled bronze. The top, also made of exotic wood, features inlaid work of remarkable workmanship in the central part. The under-top band is made up of three pull-out drawers, the central one larger than the side ones. The curved feet are embellished with bronze applications and end with finely chiseled bronze socks and wheels underneath.
