On the reverse, in the centre, the weevil mark for imported objects, underlined by an M.
The rim of the frame offers eight reserves to the very beautiful open-work decoration, four are chiselled with swirling foliage motifs around a Buddhist lotus flower; alternated with four others with Chinese calligraphic writing framed by Greek motifs.
The upper part of the object encircled with a smooth circular angle masking the chamfered edge of the glass receptacle and falling six millimeters on the edge of the cup.
The shoulder underlined by a geometric frieze formed by a succession of tangled and chiselled triangles; attached to a frieze of Greek. It rests on a small circular heel whose open cut center offers a shou character of longevity I think.
Note the additional interest that the glassware brings thanks to the "imperfections" characteristic of a glassblower's work, bubbles, concentric streaks and other imperfections that contribute to the charm of the object.
