Lovely pair of Chinese gouaches on rice paper of great finesse. They represent the emperor and empress of the QING dynasty of Manchurian origin, the last dynasty before the Chinese revolution.
They are in excellent condition.

The QUING dynasty ruled from 1644 to 1912.
It succeeded the MING dynasty.
