Alexander Dzigurski was a Serbo-American artist who studied at the art school in Belgrade, to the great disappointment of his farmer father. His talent and strong work ethic brought Dzigurski to America in 1949. Alexander Dzigurski’s most popular paintings are his colorful and powerful landscapes and seascapes, as evidenced by this oil on canvas.
Alexander Dzigurski’s paintings reflect the diversity of the American coastline, and are often painted with a great contrast of light and shade at sunrise or sunset.
