Ceramic by Jean Van Dongen (1883-1970) Large ceramic dish decorated with a bird in the style of an American Indian. The elegant graphics are accompanied by highly decorative contrasting colours. Brother of Kees van dongen, Jean devoted himself to ceramics with talent and rubbed shoulders with the greatest sculptors of his time such as Aristide Maillol. The size is impressive 48cm in diameter and the condition is perfect.
