HAMON settles in Collioure after many wanderings. A long-distance sailor, painter from Marseille and the Côte d'Azur, it was finally Roussillon that would end up fixing him. Using a technique similar to that of Henri MARTIN, HAMON produced a considerable number of views of Collioure, Céret, Canigou,... . Preparatory work dated August 1927, on the back.
