Pair of marine percussion pistols, bronze barrel, Napoleon III - II° Empire period. XIX. Box pistol with octagonal barrels with strong reinforcing bulge at the muzzle outlet. Mouth outlet diameter: 12 mm. Steel crested dog. Trigger under red copper trigger guard. Walnut stock with flat side. Hallmarks on the left side at the base of the barrel "star ELG", Liége, (from 1811 to 1893). Punches on the right side "AS" on one and "AD" on the other. Mechanism in very good working order.
