- box rimmed in bronze with a polychrome miniature on the top of the lid of the box representing two dogs with a ball, the small dog pretending and the big dog with the left front paw raised and look at the little dog. - The box unscrews and the inside of the lid is finely carved with a rosette. - The miniature has a domed mineral glass. - Period late 19th century around 1870-1885.
