"Charles X Tea Caddy, Netherlands 1814-1830, Sterling Silver, Theebus, Theedoos Zilver"
Lovely Charles X period tea box in solid silver of Dutch origin. It has the typical shape of Dutch Silver objects from the beginning of the nineteenth century, which are very close to the German Biedermeier style or the French Charles X or Louis-Philippe style. It is in perfect condition and bears the two guarantee hallmarks of the Netherlands: the lion passing for 835% silver and the head of Minerva which indicates the letters from the different control offices, which is unfortunately erased. On the bottom is also a goldsmith's mark in which an anchor appears. Its key is missing. It weighs 250 grams.
