Work early in the artist's production circa 1925.
Jean-Roger Sourgen settled in 1925 in Hossegor. Self-taught, he brings together in a thematic triptych the motifs of the Landes landscape. Embedded in the pines, set like an opal, the Hossegor lake, tirelessly repeated, in a permanent desire for fusion, is designed like a theater scene that the artist models according to his imagination.
Another work by the artist on my proantic gallery.
