Rare representation of the deity Ganesha, depicted seated in the sattvaparyanka position, the right leg resting on the left leg. He is dressed in the delicately modeled sampot with finely pleated edges, cinched at the back in a fishtail-shaped knot waving slightly to the right. The arms are detached from the body, the hands placed on the knees. He is richly adorned with bracelets on his arms, wrists and ankles, a large triple row necklace and a Brahmanic cord crossing the body above a slightly rounded belly. It sports long ears resting on the shoulders, a short trunk resting in the middle of the chest. He is adorned and wearing a tiara and a conical mukata top.
