Painting by Léon Boudot dated 1891, probably representing a landscape of Franche-Comté. Léon Boudot, Franche-Comté painter was a pupil of Louis Français and Gustave Courbet. Present at the Salon from 1877 to 1924, he participated in the Universal Exhibitions of 1899 and 1900. His works are in the museums of Besançon, Nancy, Reims, Nîmes, Cannes as well as in American public and private collections (sources P. Cabanne-G. Schurr ) Harvests are a theme that Léon Boudot likes. He paints nature with realism. This painting is in its original state, requires cleaning and a small restoration for a slight tear in the upper left in the sky.
