Very pretty French-made Empire chandelier from the Napoleon III period around 1880. Beautifully crafted in gilded bronze and enhanced with the black polish typical of the end of the 19th century... It consists of 6 sconces embellished with cherubs and character heads. Originally the light was candle-powered (non-electrified) later around 1910, it was electrified in its center by a frosted glass bobèché and finally the sconces were electrified. It was restored according to the criteria for restoring old lights to remain in their original state...It can be viewed by appointment at the showroom in Brussels...Sending possible in a secure box - Shipping costs according to destination...
